This article refers an issue with Internet restrictions in Windows 7 64-bit, Net Control 2 version 10.22 and higher, when Net Control 2 Internet Control Engine is installed in Mode 2 (default).
Symptoms: Internet restrictions are applied (for example, “Block Internet”) but do not work on student computers in all browsers.
Solution:
Update Windows 7 on student computers with the following Windows Updates:
Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 (KB976932)
Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3033929)
Restart student computers after update.
