By default all date and time-related macro commands do not work in current Windows versions (Set Time, Set Date, Synchronize Time, Synchronize Date commands), due to the student module works as a system service and does not have necessary privileges in the system to change the system date or time.
Privileges should be added through local or AD group policies (e.g. click Windows Start button and type Edit Group Policy). In the policy editor, please open Computer Configuration – Windows Settings – Security Settings – Local Policies – User Rights Assignment section. On the right pane, please find and double click the Change the system time privilege; click Add User or Group button; add SYSTEM account to the list.
Microsoft Windows operating system of other than English language versions (German, French, Spanish etc.) may have other name of the SYSTEM account. To discover the actual name of the account, please open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), then on the Details page please find nstudent.exe process and verify the associated user name.
