1. Please verify that User Module of the software is installed on all computers, which will be controlled.
Particularly, Net Control 2 icon should be displayed in System Notification area (System Tray, area beside clock) of each user computer. Details... 2. Both Administrator and User computers should belong to the same group. To scan the network for available groups and computers, please use menu command (of Administrator module): N -> Connections -> Search within Groups. In this case, Net Control 2 will create a list of groups in the network first, then will scan each group for computers within it. To select a group, please select groups tab (at the bottom of main window), then double-click group's shortcut. 3. Windows Firewall blocks scan requests or replies, sent from computers in your network. To solve the problem, please verify that Net Control 2 is enabled in Windows Firewall on both administrator and teacher computers. For more information please click the following link. 4. Your network hardware/configuration does not support or blocks network information, sent in "broadcast" mode. Possible solutions: - configure the network to enable broadcast UDP mode; - use Scan IP range feature to scan address space of your network for available computers: click a submenu of Scan network button on left toolbar; then from appeared menu please use Scan IP range menu command, and specify address range of your network. This operation may take enough long time. - install the software on user computers in WiFi / MultiVLAN connection mode.
