Please update Windows Sockets subsystem up to version 2. An update you can download here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/WUAdminTools/S_WUNetworkingTools/W95Sockets2/Default.asp

This update also included in Windows 95 Service Pack 1 and may be in other update packages.
